This PJs Medium Unicorn was poorly packed and both back legs were broken in shipping.  Thankfully the delicate horn made it in one peice.

The repair here was mostly reattaching the legs, but I also did a through cleaning to get out all the dirt in the mane & tail, repainted the damage repairs, and did a minor repaint of the saddle & saddle blanket.  Also glued the sticker back on so it didn't get torn or lost.

As you can see the break in the legs was not clean, in fact a large chip had broken off and was reclaimed.

The first thing I did in this case was to glue that large chip back into place, let that dry, then glued the rest of the broken leg in place.

After a good cleaning, I mixed up some acrylic craft paint to match the colors of the existing paint and did some painting. I was careful not to paint over the original artist initials on the belly as I prefer to keep that little bit of history with the PJs figurines.

Results of the leg repair & painting touch-up.

Once the painting was done I gave the figurine a few coats of gloss polyurethane. I've found I can use my paint mixer drill attachment as a great holder for spray painting both sides of my PJs figurines.

I also glued the top and bottom of the badge back down onto the base by laying the badge against a desktop and putting a heavy box on top.

I had also cleaned the base and touched up a little bit of scraping from feet of the figurine sliding across it.  (Had to glue that little corner of the badge on the left down as well.)
